Printing

Discover how you can easily print in the HU Library and across the entire campus

Printing via the uniFlow print portal

  1. Go to huprinten.hu.nl and log in.
  2. On the ‘begin printing’ page, you can upload a file of up to 100 MB. A notification ‘file uploaded’ will appear on the right side of the screen for a few seconds.
  3. Check on the ‘dashboard’ to see if the file is still in the queue. You can empty the queue by refreshing it. An empty queue means your file has been sent.
  4. Then, go to a printer at the HU and log in with a card or HU login credentials.
  • Using the printer for the first time?
Log in by placing an RFID-compatible card (e.g., OVcard) on the card reader of the printer. Link your card to print account once by entering your HU email address and HU password. Then choose ‘copy’, ‘scan’, or ‘print’.
  • Don’t have a card? Click ‘forgot card’ on the printer display. In the next screen, type your HU email address and password. Then click ‘log in’.
Downloading a printerdriver
  • Do you have a private Windows laptop or MacBook, you will be able to download the HU printerdriver in the portal under the header ‘start printing‘.
  • Do you work on a private Chromebook, you will be able to print via the portal or via the new Chrome-extension, also on the portal.
