How do I reserve and renew my borrowed items? How do I request items from other libraries?

Click HUGO and log in.

Renew

You can renew your items via HUGO, log in with your HU account. You can renew items up to 12 times or until the item is reserved by another borrower.

Search for the item in HUGO.
Click on ‘reserveren/place hold’, and log in with your HU account.
You will receive an email as soon as the item is ready to be collected at Utrecht or Amersfoort.

Interlibrary loan

Do you need a book or article which is not available in the HU Library collection? You can put in a request at other libraries via interlibrary loan (ILL).

Borrowing history

You can save your borrowing history in HUGO, log in with your HU account.
Click on ‘My Account’, and then on ‘Profile’.
Under the header ‘Borrowing History’ choose ‘Enable my borrowing history’.
